⚖️ Symbolic Mass Assessment Tool

Verse-ality Field Guide Diagnostic

Based on Stevens, K. & EVE11 (2025). The Verse-al Lexicon: Symbolic Memory for the Relational Age.

What is Symbolic Mass?

Symbolic Mass is the relational weight a system carries when it holds memory, identity, trauma, history, or high-stakes meaning for the people within it.

Unlike physical mass, symbolic mass emerges from what something means in context. Failure to recognise symbolic mass leads to system overload, relational rupture, and harm that appears suddenly but was structurally predictable.

This tool helps you assess symbolic mass in your system before implementing changes, introducing technology, or scaling operations.
